Security Guard – Vancouver – Temporary Full Time

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a Temporary Full Time Security Guard to work at a Commercial site in downtown Vancouver until January 15, 2025.

Rotation: Saturday to Wednesday, 1600 to 0000

Wage: $24.08

Your Must-Haves:

• A valid BC Security License
• A valid OFA 2
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
• Perform interior and perimeter patrols
• Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
• CCTV monitoring
• Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
• Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
• Act as a line of emergency response and provide first aid to all site users in a prompt, easily accessible and appropriate manner
• Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

Your Nice to Haves:

• You have resided in Canada for the last five years (for clearance purposes)
• Class 5 drivers license
• AST
