Mobile Security & Rapid Response Officer

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Security & Response Officer to join our team in Downtown Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, and providing a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned areas in Downtown Vancouver.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter criminal activity.
• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and report findings.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and client representatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
• Assist in the training and development of new security personnel.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security License in British Columbia.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform patrol duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience in mobile security operations.
• Knowledge of Downtown Vancouver’s geography and security landscape.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Will be required to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and respond calmly in emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
