Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor activities, prevent loss, and respond to incidents as they arise.

Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or law enforcement is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is advantageous.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Must possess a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in criminal justice or related fields is a plus.
