Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to any incidents. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security risks.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for monitoring activities effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when necessary.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus.
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
