Tactical Security Guard

Now Hiring: Tactical Security Guards – Toronto, ON

Skyview Security is currently seeking Tactical Security Guards for one of its sites located in Toronto, Ontario.

Requirements – The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Minimum 2 years of Tactical Security experience or equivalent
• Full-time availability, including afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with no hourly work restrictions
• Solid knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Mental Health Act, and relevant legislation (e.g., Section 494 CCC, Trespass to Property Act)
• Use of Force certification (Baton/Handcuff) – Asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Clear and fluent English communication (verbal and written)
• Excellent report writing and memo book record-keeping
• High level of observation and attentiveness
• Professional appearance and physical deportment
• Sound judgment, decision-making, and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding, personalized front-line customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Enforce property rules, the Trespass to Property Act, and maintain safety for clients and assets
• Monitor CCTV, fire panels, and access control systems
• Respond promptly to emergencies (medical, fire, building-related)
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols, report hazards and deficiencies
• Follow and review site-specific post orders
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Certifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (no restrictions)
• First Aid & CPR Level C + AED Certification
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License – Asset
• Smart Serve Certification – Asset
• Use of Force Training (Baton/Handcuff Certified) – Preferred
