Job Description
Skyview Security is hiring professional Bouncers / Door Supervisors to join our Bar & Event Security team. This role focuses on nightlife and event security and is ideal for guards who are confident, reliable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
Successful candidates will start with weekend shifts, with opportunities for additional placements and hours based on performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Control entry and check valid ID at venue entrances
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff
- Monitor guest behaviour and enforce venue policies
- Manage lineups and crowd flow outside the venue
- De-escalate conflicts and handle disturbances professionally
- Work closely with venue staff and management
- Respond to incidents and complete written reports when required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Smart Serve Certification (Required)
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Availability to work evenings, late nights, and weekends
