Security guard Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area

Summary

We are seeking a licensed security guard to work within the Greater Toronto Area as well as the Hamilton Area. Having a car is an asset.

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding construction sites and providing escort services, aligning with our commitment to safety and excellence. Some sites are active construction sitea that require you to have your own vehicle.

Areas we will cover is Toronto, Etobicoke, Hamilton and more

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
• Enforce loss prevention measures to protect client assets.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security incidents.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Assist in controlling access points and verifying credentials.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, ensuring swift resolution.
• Uphold the company’s standards of professionalism and integrity at all times
• Qualifications
• Proven experience or background in law enforcement or security roles.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Prior experience in loss prevention is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
