Job Description:
Northern Force Security is seeking a dedicated security guard to work continental shifts at a retirement residence in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Safety & Security: Monitor and secure the premises, ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and visitors at all times.
• 
  Access Control: Manage visitor and contractor entry and exit.
• 
  Patrol Duties: Conduct regular internal and external patrols to deter and detect security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards.
• 
  Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical incidents, fire alarms, and other emergencies.
• 
  Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous assistance to residents and visitors.
• 
  Report Writing: Accurately document and report all incidents and observations.
• 
  Compliance: Follow all security policies and procedures, including confidentiality and resident privacy.

Qualifications:

• 
  Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• 
  Security License: Valid Ontario Security Guard License required.
• 
  CPR/First Aid: Valid certification required.
• 
  Experience: Previous experience in security, particularly in residential or healthcare settings, is preferred.
• 
  Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• 
  Attention to Detail: High level of observation skills and awareness.
• 
  Professionalism: Must demonstrate integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
• 
  Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods and conduct regular patrols.
• 
  TB Test: A tuberculosis (TB) test must be provided prior to hiring.
