Security Guard/ Concierge

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

***Must have minimum 1 year concierge experience and over 1 year security experience***

***Must have minimum 1 years customer service experience***

Must be able to work all shifts (nights, evenings, and weekends)

NOTE: THIS SITE IS IN YORK REGION

• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front line representative of our clients organizations
• Operate and maintain an organized front desk environment
• Enforce of property rules in order to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets
• Supervise the logging in and out of key site equipment (radios, keys)
• Monitor CCTV and card access systems
• Assist with the facility bookings (party rooms, movie rooms, BBQ’s, etc.)
• Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
• Complete walking patrols and inspections of facilities and equipment
• Review, know and follow post orders as identified for site representing
• Maintain safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures
• Duties as otherwise assigned

Qualifications:

• (Part timers)– Strong availability to work mainly Friday to Sunday in schedules that will consist of afternoons, overnight and 12 hour shifts
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
• Valid WHMIS Certification
• Canadian High School Level education or higher (preference will be given to those with a Criminal Justice or Business post secondary education)
• Proficient in the use of various computer programs (i.e.. Microsoft Office, Gmail) and able to adapt and learn new programs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
