Job Description

Job Summary
International Protection Group Inc. (IPG) is a Canadian-based security company specializing in providing professional security services to our clients. We are seeking Professional Patrol Guards with 3-5 years of experience dealing with de-escalation situations, customer-facing roles, and handling client disruptions to join our team in Southern Ontario.

Our ideal candidates are reliable, observant, and skilled in customer service, with the ability to manage a variety of security-related tasks while maintaining professionalism in all situations.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Monitor and patrol premises to ensure safety and security while adapting to your surroundings and "reading the room."
Handle and de-escalate rising circumstances or conflicts effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to clients and the environment.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including medical, fire, and security breaches.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any security risks.
Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional incident and activity reports, adhering to IPG standards of reporting.
Uphold and enforce client policies and procedures while maintaining a positive experience for all parties involved.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in security, with a focus on de-escalation, customer-facing roles, and client disruptions
Valid Ontario Security License
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
Valid Smart Serve Certificate
Fluency in both spoken and written English
Ability to effectively communicate and write detailed reports
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations
High attention to detail and strong observational skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Must be available every weekend
