Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and attentive Security Guard to join our team. This role is focused primarily on guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure in a professional, courteous manner.
- Check guests in and out, verify information, and record details such as name, time, and unit or area of access.
- Maintain an accurate log of visitors, deliveries, and contractors on-site.
- Provide clear directions and helpful information to guests as needed.
- Monitor lobby or entry area to ensure only authorized individuals access the premises.
- Communicate effectively with building management or supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
- Be available for afternoon shifts and on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, concierge, or front desk security is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail when recording guest information.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling inquiries or busy periods.
- Must possess a valid security guard license (as required by provincial/state regulations).
- Afternoon and on-call availability is required.
- Physically able to stand or sit for extended periods as needed.
