Summary

In the role of Manager, Security Operations, you will oversee the security team and ensure the safety and protection of organizational assets. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will leverage your core skills in risk assessment, incident response, and security protocols to develop and implement effective security strategies. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in security operations management
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with security technologies and incident response protocols
  • Ability to analyze security incidents and implement effective solutions
  • Provides 24/7 support, guidance and consultation on a variety of issues related to security and emergency management.
  • Coordinates and implements the security training program with the assistance of the training and compliance coordinator
  • Involves in the initial security response to situations/incidents and ensures appropriate emergency services are advised including notification to management and others as requires.

  • Oversees and performs incident investigations.
  • Conduct interviews, collect relevant accurate information in a professional and lawful manner in conjunction with Human Resources and Operations department. Maintains appropriate privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • When required, responds to medical incidents, fire alarm incidents and any other site level emergencies.
  • Ensures efficient operations of services and equipment, and appropriate training and policies are followed on behalf of the company and clients.
  • Ensures Security staff working under the service contract are fully trained and familiar with their role, responsibility and their response.
  • Works with the Director of Operations n ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures and Post Orders are up to date and relevant, including any legislation changes.
  • Collects and analysis security data and identifies trends and potential cause of security related incidents, criminal activity and disturbances and reports data to the client and head office
  • Keeps up to date on new security methods, techniques, and legislations that may impact Executek’s procedures and practices.
  • Works with the Operations groups, HR departments and scheduling teams
  • May be required to assist with emergency situations and assist with the emergency management program including participation in operational and discussion-based exercises.
  • Diploma/Degree in Police Foundations, Law and Security, or a related field is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
