Event Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as they arise.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety protocols.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with visitors and staff.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Familiarity with law enforcement practices is preferred.
• Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
