Security Guard Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention strategies. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding property and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe activities and maintain accurate logs of incidents.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with visitors and staff.
• Report any security breaches or unusual occurrences to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.25-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
