Security Guard/Concierge

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and law enforcement practices to ensure the safety of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure effective monitoring.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises, checking for security breaches or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
• Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.55-$19.00 per hour
