If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a door security person at IPG and begin to work at our bars and lounges. We offer a competitive salary, based on your experience at our various downtown Toronto locations.

Responsibilities:

– Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing venue policies and procedures

– Monitor and control access points to the premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter

– Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and handle any necessary procedures for underage individuals

– Check bags and conduct pat downs to ensure weapons, alcohol and drugs do not enter the venue

– Monitor crowd behavior and diffuse any potential conflicts or disturbances in a calm and professional manner

– Provide exceptional customer service, answering any questions or concerns from patrons

– Collaborate with other security personnel and staff members to ensure a smooth operation of the venue

– Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may arise

– Stay up to date with current security protocols and techniques

Requirements:

– Valid security license and smart serve

– Proven experience as a door security person or in a similar security-related role

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Strong physical presence and the ability to handle potentially difficult situations

– Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques

– Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security operations

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Licence/Certification:
