Overview:
Join Paladin Security as a dedicated Security Guard at the Cushman & Wakefield Patrol site — One Queen Street East, a 503,000-square-foot landmark offering premium office space in a prime downtown Toronto location.

In this role, you’ll provide proactive and reactive patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure the safety and security of all tenants, staff, and visitors. You’ll maintain a strong presence, uphold property standards, and deliver exceptional customer service in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols for extended periods (8–12 hours)
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and respond to alarms or incidents
• Maintain detailed written logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist tenants and visitors
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and access control procedures
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid or CPR as needed
• Control vehicle traffic and maintain awareness of property activities and events
• Handle trespassers and unauthorized individuals professionally under the Trespass to Property Act
• Assist with Fire and Life Safety inspections
• De-escalate conflicts or crises while maintaining calm and control
• Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and emergency personnel

• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and patrol by foot or vehicle for extended periods (8–12 hours)
• Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
• Minimum 1 year of prior security experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (indoor/outdoor)
• Capable of handling stress and making sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working in highly populated or busy areas
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred:

• Experience in physical or mall security considered an asset
