Bouncer

About the Role:

We are hiring Bouncers/Security Guards for one of our esteemed clients. The primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and secure environment for patrons by maintaining order and enforcing age restrictions at the entrance. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and de-escalation skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify IDs at the entrance and ensure no entry for individuals under 19 years old.

• Monitor the premises to ensure safety and security for all patrons and staff.

• De-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally.

• Handle and remove intoxicated individuals as needed, ensuring minimal disruption.

• Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing security policies.

• Communicate effectively with staff and management to maintain order.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security or bouncer roles (minimum 1 year preferred).

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven de-escalation skills and the ability to handle conflict with confidence and calmness.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

• Experience dealing with intoxicated individuals is an asset.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
