Our team is built on discipline, teamwork, and integrity. We are currently seeking experienced Tactical Security Guards for a high-profile site in Ottawa.

Position Overview:

This position requires guards who are confident, physically fit, and capable of taking control in high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience handling incidents involving trespassing, theft, or aggressive behavior, and must be skilled in detention and handcuffing procedures.

Shift Availability:

• Monday to Friday:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends:
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Intervene and de-escalate conflicts professionally.
• Detain and restrain individuals when necessary in accordance with the law.
• Conduct perimeter checks, vehicle and bag inspections if required.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and incident reports.
• Report safety hazards, property damage, or suspicious activities.
• Liaise with police or emergency services when needed.
• Uphold client site protocols and maintain professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of tactical or high-risk security experience (hospital, construction, or enforcement-type settings preferred).
• Strong physical fitness and endurance for 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in report writing and use of security communication devices.
• Comfortable using de-escalation and defensive tactics when appropriate.
• Own tactical pants and vest (uniform shirt provided by company).
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Driver’s license and personal vehicle considered an asset.
