Position Overview:

Reporting to the Mobile Security Manager, the Mobile Security Supervisor/Night Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the security operations during the night shift. This position is every Friday to Sunday night from 2000 to 0600, on an averaging agreement for 12 hour shifts. You are the mobile oversight at night and responsible for the service delivery of the mobile team. The Night Supervisor role also encompasses Quality Control checks on different static security shifts and reporting back on Quality Control findings. Finally, reviewing all mobile reporting from the mobile team to ensure reports are detailed, inclusive of all required details, and valuable to our clients and their properties.

Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of automobiles (e.g., changing a tire, boosting a battery, filling washer fluid).
• Demonstrating leadership qualities; capable of managing other mobile security guards.
• Managing the company dispatch line, email system, and scheduling.
• Completing assigned site tasks (patrols and reports) and conducting regular patrols to ensure security.
• Managing shift book-offs and coordinating the drop-off of vehicles to the mechanic as needed.
• Responding promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Training staff and monitoring their performance on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborating with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Overseeing the security operations and ensuring adherence to security protocols and procedures.
• Completing and auditing employee security reports and patrol tasks.

Requirements:

• Must hold an AB Security License.
• Must be Standard First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Must own a personal vehicle for daily commute.
• 3+ years of driving experience in Canada.
• Must possess an AB Driver's License and provide a driver's abstract.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, local laws, and CCTV systems.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Physically fit and able to manage demanding situations.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Shift Details:

Shifts typically run from 20:00-06:00, every Friday to Sunday.
