Static Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and enforcing security protocols to prevent loss and maintain a safe environment. This role is vital in protecting assets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to observe and record activities within the premises.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of visitors and staff.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff as needed while maintaining security protocols.

Requirements

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and safety procedures.
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including nights or weekends if required.
• Valid security license or certification as mandated by local regulations is a plus but not always required depending on jurisdiction. This position offers an opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment while developing valuable skills in security operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
