Security Guard

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and emergency response, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports for management review.
• Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.

Requirements

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
• Familiarity with surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and visitors.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Must be physically fit and capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
