Security Guard

We are seeking a professional and dedicated Residential Security Guard to join our team to ensure the safety and security of residents and property at our residential setting. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, responsive, and possess a valid Alberta security license. Key Responsibilities: – Monitor the premises for suspicious activity and ensure the safety of all residents and visitors. – Conduct regular patrols of the property, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter unauthorized access and vandalism. – Operate surveillance equipment and review footage as necessary to maintain safety standards. – Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and any incidents that occur on the property. – Enforce property rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to residents. – Maintain a detailed log of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. – Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. – Assist residents with inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and secure community environment. **Qualifications:** – Valid Alberta Security License is required. – Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred. – Strong observational skills and attention to detail. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. – Must be physically able to perform patrols and respond to emergencies. – Flexible availability for varying shifts, including 8-12 hour overnight shifts
