Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facility and its occupants. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent service to visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor premises and ensure safety.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect property.
• Provide assistance to visitors and staff, addressing any concerns or inquiries regarding safety procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure effective response during emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is preferred.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
