EXPERIENCED OVERNIGHT SECURITY GUARD

Guaranteed Protection Services is seeking a mature and professional licensed level II security guard to provide outstanding service for our construction site client. The ideal candidate is one that is accustomed to working overnight and provides exceptional security guard service.

The unarmed guard will reside on the the client's supply site and monitor all traffic and movements on the exterior. The guard will monitor the entrance and exits of all contracted workers and ensure that there are no trespassers or prohibited entry.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to receive and follow detailed instructions as well as give them and ensure detailed instructions are followed.
• Must be able to operate a mobile phone and must ALWAYS HAVE AN OPERABLE CELL PHONE while on duty.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work alone and overnight.
• Approaches others in a tactful manner; Treats others with respect and consideration.
• Takes pride in ownership in the position and property.
• Be organized, proactive, productive and self-motivated showing a positive attitude.
• Maintain a neat and professionally well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Must have dependable transportation.

Main Responsibilities

• Follows all assigned post orders, both general and specific.
• Contacts appropriate personnel by radio or telephone to report irregularities and or suspicious behavior.
• Experience/Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years or older with a high school diploma or high school equivalent.
• Current Level II guard Certification is required.
• Must have a working cell phone at all times.
• Must be able to use security guard tracking software via cell phone.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be ALERT AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON DUTY.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 – $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
