Armed Security Officer

Job Summary

BPS SECURITY is looking to hire a full time employees for some overnight work and Second shift work. Schedules are as follows: Fri-Sun 5pm to 6am Location: clinic setting. Requirements: consistent walking, interior patrols as well as exterior patrols, all while hitting specific checkpoints throughout the site every hour.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR
• Enforce security policies and procedures with professionalism and tact
• Manage conflict situations with de-escalation techniques to ensure safety for all parties involved
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as needed
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
• Control access points by verifying credentials and inspecting packages or vehicles when necessary
• Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets

Requirements

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles preferred
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems
• Excellent conflict management and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
• Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures
• Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly during emergencies

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 42.0 per week
